If you're wanting to do something mathsy, I'd advise you to do further maths, as it will a) help you get into uni and b) help you at uni. Or, if it's too much maths, do a subject like chemistry or physics, as lots of maths courses prefer students with physics or chemistry.
BUT if you don't want to do these subjects then don't the most important factor to consider is that you enjoy the A Levels you choose and will work hard in them

I'm at the end of my first year and would advise you to take these subjects.
Maths, Physics, Economics, and a Essay based course.
This will allow you to get into 90 percent of courses out there.
