    (Original post by JoshRyan74)
I would have said it was harder than past papers, but I don't think I dropped a great deal of marks. The problem for me was not knowing the rates of convergence (i.e. for Simpson's rule)
Well that's exactly what a couple of people I asked said, they complained about the rates of convergence questions.

"I think I'll look on TSR for an unofficial mark scheme for the NM exam now"

*finds out no one takes this unit*
    I cry... :,(

Anyways! I think this exam was quite straight forward compared to some of the more recent past papers. I fear the grade boundaries will be relatively high. I cry...

    Where I'll probably lose marks:
The last question -> the explaining bits about the rates of convergence of the different sums
I believe this final question was the hardest on the paper as it required a higher level of understanding of the concept of convergence.

****ed up one of the error questions because didn't do biggest minus smallest etc, does anyone know if that means I won't get any marks in part ii? I also ****ed up the one of the simpsons ones in the second to last question and then used that wrong answer for the last part of the last question, which i also wasnt too sure on. Other than that it wasn't the worst exam but I may have made some calculation errors or not said the exact right thing on some of the word questions.

Do you agree with the proposed ban on plastic straws and cotton buds?
