just had a wonderful call from the army this morning which caused me to run out of my english lesson in a very pissed off mood.

as some of you may or may not know iv been put on the nhs waiting list for breast reduction which i am extremly happy about. however the army (my chosen carrea (sp) path) phoned me this morning to tell me that i only have two choices concerning this. as the waiting time is about a year and the recovery time is 3months our armed fgorces have told me if i want to join up i have to either cancel the op or reapply after 18months  !! and iv been doing this whole bloody joining up thing for months already!!!

soooooo pissed off right now
Would your breasts really be an obstacle to join the army? I suppose they don't stop you from doing physical activity right now...

Well if your breasts are in proportion, they can't be that huge. I was just asking because your breasts will probably become smaller if your physical activity becomes more frequent any way. Did the specialist doctor say your breasts were disproportioned?

I thought a lot of girls had different sized breasts...
So you don't think more exercise will make your breasts smaller anyway?

    Trigger,

Have you considered joining the army and THEN getting a breast reduction. The waiting list will a LOT shorter, and free, and you're getting paid even when in hospital.

There is of course a downside to this... you have to get in and complete basic and trade training before you get the op. This may prove uncomfortable, but with a top quality bra and keeping it strapped up for the more arduuous activities, you should manage OK.

Bear in mind that the army are looking for the potential in you, so if you can impress them from the start, bite your tongue and not moan too much, it should all come together eventually.

I hope this was of some use to you.
