    That makes me feel better that other people made the same mistakes, I'm hoping for 2 out of 4 as well. I'm so annoyed at myself because I know I can do it

    The range answers were the integers: 9, 10, 11. As you found it was 0 when x was 8 or 12, therefore only smaller than 0 if 9,10,11

    one answer was 121 (so root answer would be 11) which was one like (3-rootX)^1/3 = 2^3 or something

    one surds question answer gave x = 45. As we were left with rootX = 3 root5 which is equal to root9 * root 5 = root 45 so x is 45.

    for question 4 there was one where you had to circle the co-ordinates for the equation of a circle, which was (-5,8) and a second part to the question was to find the radius which I put as the square root of 10.

    x^2+6x+2=0
    x^2+6x+9-9+2=0
    (x+3)^2=7
    x+3=root7
    x=-3+/-root7
