Try harder? Just pasting that slogan everywhere doesn't really do a lot for debate.
"we are one of the largest powers" ughhhhh pleeeeaaaaaase

WE HAVE NO F***ing power in the EU!

Its UNELECTED, UNACCOUNTABLE Commissioners that run the EU, Not COUNTRIES!

We don't have the power as the people of Britain to change the EU in ANY democratic way. We cant elect anyone apart from MEP's, who cant PASS, VETO, or REPEAL legislation. MEP's hold MEANINGLESS positions of so called 'power'.

So then we have the commission. We don't elect them, 99% of us don't even know them! They don't answer to anyone and have NO obligation to meet our needs.

THE UK has voted against legislation 79 times in EU every single time we have FAILED!

We have seen our fishing industry DECIMATED because some EU countries banded together to make a plan to carve up our waters for themselves. guess what we had no ability to stop the policy with our 1/28th of a say.

Its corporations that pay HUGE sums of money to these slimy commissioners who in return do them a favour. The countries are screwed and were screwed. OK? GET IT NOW?

WE DONT HAVE ANY F-ING POWER IN THE F-ING EU!!!

Weres our great power now? I don't see it!

do not withdraw; we cannot all work as Beefeaters and Spitfire Pilots in Boris' Theme Park Britain.
Why do Remainers think theyre soooo funny making sh**ty jokes like that?

Come up with some meaningful stuff or shut it. Its getting really childish.

Leaving will CREATE jobs by removing the suffocating red tape (regulation) that stops the emergence of small businesses and start-ups. We will see a surge of business emerge if we leave.

Don't take my word for it, self made entrepreneurs have all said this: James Dyson, Duncan Bannatyne, The founder of JCB, The founder of JML ..... the list goes on.

So if you have something sensible to say in response please so but don't spew dumb jokes.

And can the patriotic 'founder of JCB' be this Mr Anthony Bamford, offshored in the Virgin Islands and using dodgy lawyers in Panama to help him dodge UK taxes?

Having problems with the current immgration policy imposed by the EU does not make someone xenophobic and you lower the quality of the whole debate by saying so.

Well, never mind. I'm sure when we've Left, we can replace trading with Germany and France with a Most Favoured Nation status with Panama.

    Wow! Really? You that ignorant.

Yes he moved his factory to Malaysia because rent costs are much lower, the raw materials needed for production are nearer so they cost less to transport and Malaysia is in Asia (his biggest market) so he doesn't pay as much to transport goods. That's why he moved.

And he still has his quaternary HQ here in the UK. That's where the research and development jobs are stationed. These are MUCH better paid.

So no, its not as if he moved because he hates Britain. He moved to help his business grow and survive just like YOU or I would. If business acted patriotically instead of acting in the interests of the future of their business, they would DIE.

Its futile to argue over who supports Leaving or Staying. You shouldn't vote because of how another person is voting.

But if your going to do this then...

So you point out Mr Bamford may have hidden some tax money, fair enough. But what about George Soros, the man who crashed the Bank of England and was the man who literally plunged us into the credit crunch??

What about Tony Blair the slimy man who lied about Iraq and ended up murdering 1,000,000 (1 million) innocent civilians?

What about DC ? The man himself. The one who to quote another's great lines: "f****d every f**king thing up in this country". (the disabled, junior docs, schools, the list goes on)

So lets not play this game. Its stupid and you know it.

We need to vote leave as not all Immigrants come hear to work though do they. Every day hundreds of Romanians etc arrive at Victoria Coach Station every day with no job lined up . They sit in the local parks getting up to no good begging pick politicking etc. We do need immigration but we should be able to control who comes in. We should only let in those who have jobs or fill in specific skills gaps. We need to control our borders we can not do that when we are are part of the EU.

There seems to be a tendency running through this campaign (promoted by devious people like Boris Johnson) to portray the EU as some kind of foreign enemy, over on the continent, nothing to do with us.

The truth is that the EU is actually us. We are one of the biggest powers in it - one of the Big Three - Germany, France and the UK - and arguably, one of the Big Two - Germany and the UK.

More than 90% of the crucial decisions of the EU, carried out in the Council of Ministers, have been approved by the UK government of the day.

The UK is listened to far more than most other countries and British people do well in Europe generally - partly because our native tongue is the dominant language of the world now and partly because most Europeans like Britain, are fond of us and feel, like it or not, deferential to us and our culture at times, because of history.

The EU cannot be our enemy because we are it and it is us.

Don't be fooled by Boris, Nigel and the rest of them. They have motives for their bitterness towards the EU, most of which are nothing to do with the interests of the majority. A lot of it is to do with defending rich people who operate from the City of London and a small band of tax-evading hedge fund owners and bankers.

We are part of Europe and we should continue to be. There is nothing to be gained by isolating ourselves on the periphery other than for those few special interests.
It can't be. We are different on nationality, tradition, views, soci eties. The Germans will never do the best interest of the UK. The pro EU say the EU makes a compromise between all the parties but it's clear it doesn't work.
As for isolation the best periods in History for the UK were with isolation. Anti EU parties lead polls in Spain,France,Austria,Netherlands . The EU could explode like the USSR after the first member leaves.

Bamford claims to be a patriotic Brit, calling for independence, yet he can't even be bothered to pay taxes here and he banks in the Virgin Islands. Soros isn't even British and has never claimed to be.

The Blair stuff seems irrelevant, I'm not defending any particular Remainers, I'm talking about the people put forward as patriotic Leavers who really aren't.

Nobody is asking anyone to separately act in the best interests of the UK. The EU is a club that you join and you then ask people to support things you want to do and people ask you to support theirs. You make deals and get the best you can. We won 87% of the issues we cared about in the Council of Ministers over the last 25 years.

Comparing the EU to the Soviet Union is really deplorable. The EU has been democratically decided upon - all of the member nations voted to join. It has a freely elected parliament and nothing can be done in it without all the member states agreeing.

If the EU does collapse, it won't be remotely in our interests - the strength of the economy of Europe is a key British national interest.

As I said in a reply to someone else,
"I'm just making fun of the fact that they left a one word argument, I don't actually believe they are xenophobic (they might be but I don't have anything to go on). Immigration is a good thing anyway."

Sorry, but you guessed wrong. He is a very smart man. He was just an average man, unemployed and relied on his wifes wages as a teacher to fund his inventing.

Eventually he used his intellect to revolutionise hoovers. His company Dyson is now huge and makes all sorts : fans, hoovers, air conditioning systems.

He is a self made man. Worked from the bottom up. We need many more like him here. But unfortunately the Eu's red tape holds people like him back.

He is leave because he remembers how hard EU regulation made it for his company to succeed and wants to rid it to help others follow in his path.

    Glad I could educate you.

The current immigration policy was not imposed by the EU, Britain voluntarily accepted the policy as part of being in the EU.

Then again Leavers live in a parallel paranoid universe where the EU is the modern manifestation of Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union rolled into one.

Most people Leavers hate are self made men and women, the only thing that they don't like about them is they don't agree with Leavers.
