This is an ongoing argument with my friend who believe that i pronounce it weird because im foreign. Ive tried telling them that there's a reason to why i pronounce Nike as Nai-kee because my english teacher once said Nike is a greek word and greeks pronounce all their vowels soooo

and i pronounce adidas as add-dee-daaas whereas my friend say ah-dee-dus ???

:dolphin::dolphin::dolphin::dolphin: i forgot you can only vote once -_-
    I pronounce it Nai-kee and Ah-dee-dass.

It makes me cringe when people pronounce "Nike" to rhyme with "like", for the simple reason that Nike is a Greek goddess, not some trendy made-up word. I mean, we don't pronounce "Pleiades" as "Pleh-i-aids"...
