I did C1 and C2 some weeks ago but I can still remember some of the answers .e.g. the C2 6 marks question was on the electrolysis of brine, it asked what happens and the equations for this chemical reaction.

I thought I might try and make a mark scheme for this as I haven't made one yet.

It might not be brilliant, but I think I can remember it reasonably well

Hi. This is for the C1/C2/C3 OCR GCSE Gateway Chemistry B June 2016 paper. The six marker for C2 was on the Haber process, although I can't really remember what the details were. The examiner's report gives a bit of details about what was required for the question: http://www.ocr.org.uk/Images/335024-...eport-june.pdf.

If it is useful, with the help of other people who sat the exam, I made unofficial mark schemes for the other exams in June 2016, apart from B1 B2 B3:

    B4 B5 B6

    C1 C2 C3
    C4 C5 C6

    P1 P2 P3
    P4 P5 P6

    Hope this helps

I can't guarantee it, but for my mocks we had the most recent papers from the previous year

I'm really sorry but I've completely forgotten this question now, apart from it being on the Haber process. It may be useful to look at the Haber process in conjunction with the examiners reports (as these are already released) to gauge some idea of what the question is about Hope this helps and good luck with your exams!
