Leaving and activating Article 50 are two different things.

Cameron has said he will activate Article 50 but not all Leave activists want that. There is a view that Article 50 undermines our negotiating position; indeed that it was written to work against a country that wanted to Leave.
So how does it work then? I thought Article 50 was the only way to leave.

That's a great win-win situation; stay in the EU whilst killing off the Tories, fantastic!
But sadly it's a pipe dream

    Cameron can't activate anything.

House of commons, House of Lords and committees will pass the act.

Even in the house of commons, MPs don't have an incentive to vote in favour of leave if their constituents don't support it.

TL;DR Leave means absolutely nothing, they've been scammed, again.

I hope so. The stupidity of 17 million people should not be accepted. The intelligent adults have to take control and not implement it. All it takes is a few good people to intervene to stop a catastrophe. They've had a nice vote, they're happy time to hush them along so we can do the job.

Unanimous agreement of the 28 members plus the European Parliament.
