I want to stay in the EU but voting Lib Dem is NOT the way to do it. This will split the left vote and ensure the Conservatives win the next election. If the Lib Dems cared about staying in the EU they'd disband as a party.

They can't even get a majority and their party was destroyed at the last general election, good luck with that.

Very clever, Tim Farron, very clever.

This was probably motivated mainly to get the Lib Dems more votes.

The Lib Dems have promised to ignore the referendum result and keep Britain in the EU in 2020. It seems like this is our only chance at averting the disintegration of the UK, the upcoming economic recession, and the undoing of 40 years of hard work in building cooperation across Europe in science, human rights, protection for the most vulnerable, and climate change prevention.

If you're one of the 48%, consider supporting or joining the Lib Dems right now - they're the only party willing to stand up for us and end this chaos.

And your suggestion for our next PM?
    Jeremy Corbyn.

    Jeremy Corbyn.
I'd take that, but it isn't gonna happen. His reasons for not supporting Remain are too different to the reason Leave won, in my opinion.

Leave won due to disgruntled Old Labour voters in the north and across the country in places like Wales. If anything, the platform Corbyn stands on is more aligned with them than any of the Blairites. Once Corbyn gets rid of the Blairite backstabbers he can then push forward and go at the Tories.

Well he has to do something to try and keep his complete irrelevancy of a party on the front page. Why not stick a knife in the democratic will of the nation to get a few column inches?

They also said we were going to get a free education. But, then hiked up the tuition fees.

Wow this site is absolutely awash with political activists trying to brainwash the bright young people of tomorrow.

    Absolutely shocking.

The EU and the fraudulent banksters have already put us through 2 recessions. The terrible "toxic mortgage" recession and the credit crunch, not to mention the purposeful destruction of small banks so that EU puppet Gordon Brown could cripple our economy wasting £millions bailing them out with tax payers money. Money that ought to have gone to the NHS and to you students for grants and better education.

Before the incessant "GRRRR BUT IT WAS A DEMOCRATIC VOTE", this is completely democratic. If people vote them into power on the premise that they'll keep us in the EU, that's democracy in action.

In fact, it'd be a hell of a lot more democratic than this **** show. It'd be the result of a general election, where you can't spend millions on busses with blatant ****ing lies painted on the side.
Still feeling like a sore loser?

I don't blame them and I don't tho I it will work (and u would t want it to ) but hopefully this can be the start if a pro EU protest moment.

For Pro EU people we are the new UKIP. We need to leave and start an insurgent political force against the new Brexit establishment
Have fun telling people why they should be conscripted without their consent into the EU Army.

Thing with comrade Corbyn is he is a proper Democratic Socialist. He has a genuine duty of care for the people. You can see it in the way he interacts with people.

The only thing I personally have against comrade Corbyn is he is a Keynesian. He better not start the QE helicopter drops.

Which doesn't exist...alongside the 350 million to the NHS.

Look at these suckers, let's see how a brexit government treats these people: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk...-a7101311.html

How is this undemocratic? If the LIb Dems are elected after promising this in their manifesto, then that means they have the right to stop us leaving?

    ...words fail me...

I didn't accuse you of lying I accused you of being wrong. That thing you posted is monumentally retarded. NATO outlines the exact thing (as well as demanding 2% defence spending) the civilian element means civilian contractors/ advisers not conscription....

Why are people still salty about this? They didnt do what they said they'd do if they got into power.... because they didnt get into power. They were the minority in a coalition but managed to block a lot of extreme Tory legislation thats been brought in since 2015. I dont understand why the hell people blamed the Lib Dems for the actions of a Tory government.

It was 6 years ago, its done, entirely different people are running the party now. Get over it, stop letting it get in the way of the only reasonable party getting into power.
