Not really. They had the best squad of the Championship three promoted, if I were to predict anyone to completely crumble it would've been Norwich as they had largely the same side that got relegated a couple of seasons ago. I don't see how Eddie Howe has done much better than Flores or Pulis in all honesty. Their side is no worse than Watford or WBA.
Alex Neil was incredibly naive, to be honest.

He brought them up and thought they could survive with exactly the same defence which got routed week in, week out back in 2013-14.

A real missed opportunity for them.*

I think Koeman is a fantastic manager. It's a shame he's gone to Everton, really.

The fault of that was down to McNally/Delia imo. Neil wasn't backed in the transfer market (in contrast to Howe) and was left with the deadwood of Hughton's reign. They desperately needed a striker too for instance, but the board bottled signing Afobe last August.

I think Howe got more attention last season than Pulis or Flores because of Bournemouth's scalps of sides such as Man Utd, West Ham and Chelsea which were key to their survival.

Also, if you're saying they had the best squad then you have to remember they were without Callum Wilson's goals for much of the season.
