If you put 100 trained dogs onto an island... watch

Currency could be useful, as this could start trade for food and other resources, and dogs with more of whatever the currency was would be more influential. However we have currency and influential people with money and look how that ended up but it'd probably work initially?
Perhaps dogs will get it right where we couldn't :ashamed2:

This is a good idea. If we can train them to trade, they would quickly learn how to bark-ter and the smartest dogs will win. There will obviously be a few eras of turmoil where greed will take over but that's to be expected and eventually there will be Bonios for all.

 I would say we should put this plan into action but RSPCA probably wouldn't be best pleased

Wouldn't it be better to use Guinea pigs?

Imagine you had 100 golden retrievers, and you had trained a handful of them to be able to train other dogs to do things. Then you put them onto an island with enough food to sustain their population.

Do you think that would accelerate their evolution into advanced beings?
I think it will. What about you? You forgot to say what you thought

100 is not enough as there is the danger of inbreeding of their offspring.

I hope so... maybe instead of the island with bear grylls with actual humans on an island we could try dogs instead ?

No, the dogs would go back to their primal ways of forming packs and hunting to survive. Food would be their main issue so they wouldn't bother thinking about anything else.

Their pups would be wild and with every passing generation they would lose the genetics that made them domestic.
