ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! This man is a war criminal and a liar.

If you think he's the one to "rescue" us - you either need to grow up or get educated about the very sinister things this man is responsible for.

Hes a warmonger. I'd give it six weeks and we'd be bombing Brussels.😊

Tony Blair is many things but he is certainly an expert negotiator as well.

This is the man that brought peace to Ireland and persuaded Gadaffi to give up nuclear capability.

Europe presumably likes him because he is an emphatic Europhile.

We are going to get freedom of movement whatever happens (which I am quite relieved about). I cannot see how such an extraordinary man can be anything but beneficial in these negotiations to anyone other than those against that policy.

Bet it will cost a fortune to have him as a negotiator.

6th July - Chilcot report - so hopefully he will be behind bars soon, where he belongs!

Depends what you think the UK economy is worth.

The words "rescued" and "Tony Blair" should never be uttered in the same sentence. Unless of course, there is a "from" in between the first and second.

It deeply saddens me that people are so disrespectful of him. He cares more about you than Cameron does. No one ever appreciates the endless good things he did for this country.

I really hope this is sarcasm.
Why would it be sarcasm? Living standards and opportunity was greatest in the Blair years. He made this country great.

A negotiator has to be trusted by all parties and Blair no longer is.

I would trust him to secure the best deal possible for Britain. I don't see how anything else is relevant

Well if he's not in prison for war crimes it could be an idea. Sorted out NI, three times a winner, before he went criminally insane.
