My chest feels really heavy and when I get up too fast I feel a bit faint.

Taking in breath feels a bit odd.

    Should I be worried?

Not that I don't find this a cry for attention it's called palpitations
you've probably been in the same spot for too long and need circulation
    or you are dehydrated
    or both

just move around and drink water
maybe pickle juice or something with quinine and vinegar like tonic water
that works better than water for extreme thirst and lack of circulation

stand on your toes and drink pickle juice, you'll be fine

That is interesting, I actually think that could be the case for me as well. I also know I have quite bad blood circulation :-( I was standing for awhile today and then I sat for a while and then when I got up I experienced it.

My chest doesn't hurt or anything, but it does feel a bit odd. I always feel like I get random pains in my chest or near my heart, it really makes me think I'm going to die before 30.
Ahhhh it affects most of us, google it and read up on it, obviously my inner medic nerd finds it interesting. It's usually more pronounced in the elderly and taller people, but it's a lot more common than you think!

Sorry for the chest pain I can't really say more than see your GP? Sorry to hear you have that I'm sure it'll get better with some help!

PS, how do you know you have bad circulation?!

Sounds a bit like a panic attack? Or just anxiety

Lol because I get pins and needles quickly like a very old lady.

I'm sure I'll be okay, I'm going to drink some water and go to bed.

Ahahahah okay fair enough! I used to think I had poor circulation till I had my BP taken. Basically my red blood cells chill, smoke some weed then decide to deliver oxygen to my cells.... I'm practically hypotensive :O

Sounds like a plan, sleep is so underrated! :P

I hate going to the doctor about things since I'm a hypochondriac and I always feel like they are going to tell me I have a tumour or 10 days to live or something
I'm exactly the same. Perhaps what you're feeling is exaggerated psychologically. If you truly do feel bad then just see a doctor as soon as you can. You've just got to tell yourself that this is minor and perhaps even nothing.

    Jesus Christ... so did I!

Sorry, on topic again. Yeah, postural hypertension is fairly normal, nothing to worry about usually
