Well, the ranking is relevant as being so highly ranked - they obviously have Oxbridge connections (which they do). Former Oxbridge admission officers work in my school and they have given offers for people with the EPQ over higher graded students. The EPQ shows university skills, such as researching and referencing - which makes them more prepared for university than somebody who didn't take it. What's more, it shows uniqueness and creativity (as the EPQ can be chosen on any topic).(Original post by Student403)
I don't think that means it's heavily sought after. That just means they take it as an alternative means of putting in academic effort during A Levels.
