    About 20 other factors before you get to occupation. U'd rather love the other person and occupation would then be irrelevant.

    There isn't any overtime as such, but £22k is recognised as the basic salary. Banding gets added to this based on the rota that you work. Usually around 40%, but it will vary for each of the three jobs during the year.

    I am "never getting married" crew (marriage in western society is a complete joke now), but if I did it would be the doctor over the nurse every time.

    Because doctors make more you will get less screwed if your wife is a doctor than if she's a nurse in the inevitable divorce
