Lol @ saying he failed at Bayern purely because he didn't win the Champions league. The bitterness is unreal.

I take it Sir Alex failed at United considering how few CL titles he won in his 20 years of managing them?
SAF had to win his league titles without having by far the best squad

He had everything handed to him on a plate in his previous two jobs. This is his first proper test. He's going to find it hard to accept that the bottom half teams are good and will put up a fight, rather than rolling over and letting him win 8-0

Have no doubts he'll finish top 3 though
He didn't have everything handed to him at Barcelona. The season before they won the treble they finished third by the same distance Southampton finished first.

Also the Bundesliga and La Liga (by a margin) are better than the Prem.

It is slightly harsh to hold not winning the CL against Pep. They've won it once in the last 15 years, he probably should have won it, but to say he was a failure because of it is a little hyperbolic as they are definitely in a better position than before he took over.

What do you define as "better"? Knowing who'll win the league before a ball has been kicked isn't fun or entertaining.

I don't deny La Liga is better, however, although the gap between top and bottom is far too big.

The fact that some people deem not winning a cup competition as failure proves the idiocy that's rife in football.

Lol at people underestimating some of the non traditional big clubs. I think the gap between the big clubs like Utd and your West Hams is much much smaller now. It would not surprise me if we have some very big surprises on who finishes in the top 4 come the end of the season.

Well, if my various FM saves are anything to go by, he'll do badly at City, get sacked at the end of the first season, move to Arsenal and win the title 6 years in a row...

That and the expectation that 4-6 clubs will to win it.. why does no one understand the maths that only one can!
