    Ugh, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Yu-Gi-Oh! GX are the only ones I care about.... 5D's was ok I guess but stopped watching the franchise after about the first series of that.
    I've only ever watched the Abridged Series on Youtube, myself.

    Enjoyed the first two (and the manga).

    I've stopped watching all the other ones.

    Koutetsou was a joke. The characters were bland and boring; the plot sluggish with no end goal or motive in sight; you must've been brain dead if you enjoyed it. The only good thing going for it was the pretty colours.

    On the other hand, BnHA, the leading show, was actually entertaining, rousing and displayed great world building. Sure, there were so many tropes and clichés that the show was sort of formulaic, but it works!

    Still, I'm surprised that nobody voted for AssClass or Ushio. They were miles better than everything else. If it weren't BnHA, I would've cast my vote for Koro sensei ; - ;
    I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy Kabaneri, but it was entirely for the action. I didn't mind the lack of plot early on, when they were just playing 'escape the zombies' and travelling in search of safety, but it went downhill bigtime after Biba was introduced and they tried to give it a story.

    I'm also surprised that AssClass and Ushio are trailing, but I guess Hero Academia would appeal to the same shounen fans, splitting the vote. Ushio to Tora was probably my favourite of the three, though.

    Ahhh it's true. Biba wrecked the show apart. Animation quality fell and they started introducing long conversations nobody cared about.

    Hmm I don't particularly dislike Ushio to Tora. It's just that for me -- someone who was into their Justice League, Teen Titans, Spectacular Spiderman as a kid -- superheroes > youkai . . . and I'm guessing a lot of people just felt the same way.

    On a side note, I'm finding this season a bit lack lustre.

    I've never really been into superhero shows, with Tiger & Bunny being a big exception. Then again, I'm not hugely into youkai either for some reason. :p:

    I'm enjoying this season so far, especially now that I'm virtually finished posting my first episode impressions, so I no longer have to force myself through anything I know I won't like. 91 Days and Amanchu! are probably the stand-out non-sequel/spinoff series for me.

    Haven't seen Amanchu! because it doesn't look like something I'd enjoy. I'm watching Orange instead for my relaxing SoL fix; I don't think the mystery plot is going to be any good but the animation is pretty to look at. On the other hand, 91 Days' first episode really set the bar -- was like watching some movie. It's a shame there's no other non-sequels out. Poo.

    I assume that means 'relaxing' these days, as opposed to terrifying? :p: *feels old*

    Yeah haha. I like how relaxed the characters are and since they all live in the coast, it makes me feel like I am on holiday.
