    The most recent fiction book is Catch 22 but I've not finished it yet

    The most recent non-fiction book was an OU textbook called from Quarks to Quasars.
    For UC head knowledge, you should be absorbing:

    * Illustrated directories of national, state, province, city and local flags and emblems from around the world.

    * The natural history of rodents, the inner ear and larvae.

    * Stuff about ribozomes and messenger RNA. (whatever the **** that is.)

    * The complete works of Proust.

    * Books about peculiar foods.

    * Pictures of cathedrals and Bauhaus buildings.

    * Maps of African countries. Outlines only.

    * The number and shapes of lego pieces.

    * Memorise exactly which king was married to who and for how long for the whole of Europe.

    * Anything about or by Caravaggio or Titian.

    That's it. Completed. Thread \

    I know I read about it in the introduction to my copy that I read a couple of months ago

    It was catch-something but then they couldn't do it because a movie about war had just come out with that number in the title. Can't remember what the number was though

    Didn't Paxo do one of his withering put down sneers in response to that?

    Just one of many "don't ask me, it's only my subject" moments in UC.
