Grades aren't necessarily lowered in clearing & yeahh it seems like all the courses are on there. I'm not the best person to ask tbh maybe claireestelle can answer?

Thank you, was on this before, but no indication of the lower clearing grades, and it seems like every single university is on here any way!
Can you check that G400 Newcastle Comp Sci shows up on your screen too? Does that mean that course is in clearing?
Yes grades arent always lowered in clearing, I would double check with the university itself just in case they haven't told ucas to take that course off but I would have hoped they should have before the search became available.

If a course is listed then you should call the university directly to confirm that they have vacancies and to ask what grades they're looking for in Clearing. The UCAS course search tool shows *original* entry requirements and lists all courses universities have transmitted as open to UCAS.

Given http://www.ncl.ac.uk/clearing/ it seems likely that the vacancies currently listed are an oversight on newcastle's part. Ring them up to confirm - it'll take 5 minutes.

Comp Sci is listed as open to international/EU students: https://app.geckoform.com/public/#/m...iODxir6imHT08Z

That doesn't mean it will be open for UK students.
