Could someone explain; what's wrong with bullfighting?
You mean aside from an animal being tormented and killed for entertainment?

I must say, I'm shocked that none of you tree huggers have called bullfighters murderers yet, never having read a dictionary seems to be a common trait.

You can hope, doesn't make it true.

No sympathy what so ever. The bull didn't want to get into that ring.

I didn't even know what it entailed as I've only seen it in cartoons. I didn't think they were killed, but yeah that's terrible.

Nothing to do with tree hugging.

Torture for entertainment is sadistic... the worst kind.

So how many species are we going to make go extinct to stop it, and how many others as a consequence?

Stopping killing for entertainment will have no extinction consequences. I can't think of an example, can you?

I thought this barbaric practise was no longer legal. It's appalling.

Sad that he died but I don't think the sport is really appropriate.

It will if you want to end it given that it isn't unique to humanity.

Thoughts with his family but he knew the risks.

Why is everyone getting bent out of shape over the bull though? They die all the time, at least bessie got a decent run out before the inevitable death.

Foxes, dogs, cats, wolves, most bears, lynxes, orcas, some mites, lions, leopards, humans, etc. Sadly most sources are in books and papers behind paywalls.

No, I'm suggesting that if you want to end bullfighting and the likes for being immoral and horrible that you should also kill every single fox, bear, lion, leopard, cat, dog, etc and in doing so cause further extinctions.
