Technically you have to do it anyway, the amendment was to a non existent piece of legislation, as much as Ray allowed the typo

So if we have to do it anyway wy this legislation, seems to be legislation for legislation (and activity) sake

As I said, Aph insists 720 holds despite the error, as did at least one former speaker, so while it doesn't hold to anybody who can read it is probably still considered as holding.

B720 gives 1886 rather than 1868, might have been birch, was one of you

    No.

'British Republic' should just be changed to 'United Kingdom'.

It's a bill from 2014. It was Faland. Surely you saw who controlled the original bill's thread at some point during the discussion or drafting for this bill.

It was brought up in my time here, I brought up that there was no 1886 act, and whichever of you and Birch was speaker basically said "meh, typo, I'll pretend it was 1868"

And perhaps you should read the notes on a bill from time to time

I did read the notes and I find it quite rude to suggest I didn't do so. If this is how you persuade people to vote for your legislation, I'm quite concerned.

So it's "hmmm, who are the authors" consideration?

I guess I may as well ask you: since when were we a Republic?

I'm going to argue now that much like the current one saying queen Victoria IRL, and this one says queen Elizibeth, The wording can be changed to match the name of the country without an amendment.

Perhaps there'll be another by election and he'll resurface.

I'm still here. Just not regularly glued to TSR as I do have a life outside this forum.*
