How close are you with your parents ? watch

I haven't seen my mum in about 7 years so I doubt there's even any relationship there
My dad and I have a minimal relationship. I don't know whether I'd choose to cut contact off with him in the future tbh. We argue a lot about university/education. He really doesn't support it. He tries to be emotionally abusive.
I think it reaches a sad point when I found it easier to talk to teachers at sixth form than I did my dad.

Mother - haven't spoken or seen in 13 years.

Daddy - that's a weird one. He raised us but I was never the problem child. We didn't speak much as I grew up cause I got the grades and went to a good school etc. It used to frustrate me how he would always encourage my brother and sister but not really me.

And then I finally stood up to my long term mental health problems last year, going to the GP and blah blah, and ever since I have felt my relationship has improved as we've became a lot more open as I've went through some crap this past year and so. I'm at uni now and I phone my daddy at least once a week.

I would say I'm pretty close to them, when I am able to see them that is. I think when you go to university you appreciate what they do for you more - obviously depending on your experience - and I keep in contact with them quite regularly via Whatsapp and Facetime.

Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
