I don't get what's so hard to understand about this. Labour Party members are not representative of the UK population.
180,000 paid the £25 in the past 2 days

I think its more likely they are people who signed the 4 million remain petition (second referendum) then corbyn voters.

I am a sample of ONE - we need more people who paid the £25 to be certain)

I feel like he's staring into my soul
It's the look he gives crypto-Tories when they try to bring their neoliberal BS into the Labour Party.

I tend to side with the Conservatives (although my allegiance is wavering slightly - will depend on how bad the fallout from Brexit is + other policies under May), but I seriously don't understand why Labour members are behind Corbyn so much. You may like him as a person. You may like his policies. But he won't win the GE. There is literally no point in having him as leader, you will only ensure that the Conservatives win again which I'm sure you guys don't want. Surely you must see that the logical step is to give him an important role with lots of influence within the party (as Owen Smith has offered), and let someone else who actually stands a chance lead? Failure to do this will mean your policies NEVER get enacted, which is counterproductive to your aims for obvious reasons. Normally I'd be happy that Labour can't provide a credible alternative, but as this government is becoming increasingly right wing it seems that a strong opposition may be necessary to try and steer their agenda more towards the centre.

Yes well 180,000 people can single handedly win the general election can't they?

The point is, when parliament discuss the second referendum petition signed by four million people (in September), it would be beneficial if the leader of the opposition was in favour of a second referendum.

The more levers of power that are in the hands of Remain politicians, the more likely the Remain side is to win victory from the jaws of defeat.

The labour party is unelectable under Corbyn yet so many - like me- and also the majority of members voted and elected for him to win in a landslide ?

Rupert Murdoch and his media hate his guts, and cattle will follow what the media feeds them.
..and that's why we need to keep on fighting.. Rather than giving up 'because he won't win anyway'.. It doesn't take much to shift the public vote.

Um you all do realise that the voting rules are changing? You can only vote if you have been a member of the Labour Party for over 6 months in this leadership election. So you may have just wasted your money.
