Presumably because it means the end of free movement of people fro some brexiters.

This is unlikely if we want access to the single market.
I know only one thing that Muslims feel the needs to butt in about complaining no one likes them if we leave:

Eu made some thing in 2010 or was it 2000 when it officialised religious freedom. Supposedly if we leave Eu the fear from the Muslims was, that religious freedom thing will be squat. I don't get what it has to do with them at all, it was probably just last minute hopes of garnering brown votes to remain  even if it ultimately works against them. :nah:

As pointed out the EU has an immigration policy. That indirectly affects the UK, even though we have opted out and control our own borders.

It also has a policy on free movement of people, some of whom will be muslims.
It really has nothing to do with British Asians at all does it  No idea why they felt pressured or compelled to vote remain the dummies. The only thing I can think of besides the religious freedom thing is Turkey's supposed involvement taking in Eu rejected refugees.

Dont think its a leave or remain argument. Can't see ow thats really relevant, but why would you find it accpetabl;e just to target muslims?

We are signatories to the ECHR which is independent of being in the EU.
Article 9 protects the right to religious freedoms.
This is also protected in UK law under the Human Rights Act 98 and the Equalities Act 2010.

To some people religion is very importnat and they dont want to be discriminated against unfailry becayse they have a particular faith? Seems perfectly understandable to me.

Perhaps Brish Asians voted on other issues other than religion?
Perhaps they viewed the Brexit campaign as hostule to muslims considering its variety of supporters and their focus on brown people being the problem? They or their parents will have veen immigrants once so hardly suprising that they might be concerned about being discriminated against and an atmosphere of intolerance?

What do you mean "you don't think it's not leave or remain." The thread is about Brexit...

Anyway what're you talking about targeting? The thread is also asking specifically about Muslims...

So like I said the EU created an act that said they have religious freedom, basically, and I read on Muslim blogs after googling for them, that their main reason to vote Remain was because they felt their protection would vanish if they leave EU. What is hard to understand about this? I mentioned it, so apparently I acknowledge religion is significant, I mean...

And you just repeated what I said that it was made in 2010 sooo....

The vote is over we are leaving, so there is no remain.
If youi are specifically selecting someone then you are targeting them.

If you want to go on annecdotal evidence thats your choice. I know what the law is.

The EU didnt create an Act.
We were already signed up to the ECHR and if we leave we will still be signed up. The UK created the Act.
    .
impact on HR leaving the EU will or wont have. People from both sides failed to understand some or a lot of the arguments. A lot of the aerguments were also misrepresented, but thats politics.

Besides the typos, not really because British Asians can have made their decision on a variety of issues. There is more than one British Asian.

The EU didnt create an Act.
Not what I read but we'll go with this then.

If that's the case then this definitely means the EU Ref, Muslims, and any discussion about them being Muslim needs to stop.

Oh and am sure I mentioned it at the beginning, but its helpful if the OP clarifies what he means by immigration. Its possible it could stop naturally. Taking unilateral action to restrict immigration based on religion would have sever consequences for the country.

How do you think all the muslims immigrated here? They get in via the EU from Romania / Greece. Don't reply to threads if you don't understand things . I swear the stupidity level of the leftwing nutjobs is higher than ever haha.

Obviously not. And I highly doubt that total immigration will significantly decrease either.
Free movement stops and we no longer have an open border to 500m people, and you think immigration won't change. Lol.

Yeah but free movement is almost certainly not going to stop since there are very few people in government who have any interest in doing that. The most likely outcome is that we reach an agreement where we're technically not in the EU to shut up the Brexiters but with virtually everything as it was before.
