Gossip Girl was awesome, I can't believe it's been 9 years since season one. Makes me feel very old.
It's funny seeing Blake Lively in things now, it's like, oh, she grew up! :teehee:

    Did you watch it?

GG is amazing. This may sound silly but it honestly changed my outlook on life and helped me become a more sociable person.

Obviously the show is unrealistic and reality isn't nearly as opulent, but like.. there's a whole world out there and it made me realise I should move out of my comfort zone and to stop worrying so much about trivial things.

I used to be so anxious. Too intimidated to approach beauty counters and to talk to new people/being judged and now idc I'm good at faking confidence irl when I need to and over the phone. You gotta fake it 'til you make it.

I'm probably a bit late now as the summer is pretty much over and school is around the corner, but I just finished all six seasons a week ago, and finished it in two weeks (Sad I know:eek:), but the show is just so addictive and you'll fall in love with the characters especially Chuck and Blair's relationship and Chucks transformation. The plot can get repetitive but because its so addictive and since Netflix starts the next episode for you once you've finished watching one it gets really hard to put down.
I don't usually watch teen dramas like PLL, I've actually never watched PLL but GG gets different as the season goes by and becomes more like 90210 if you've heard of that show. So yes watch it in you free time.
P.s I also recommend, Scandal, Suits and How to Get Away With Murder. My top three favourite shows at the moment.

I wouldn't recommend. I always found the show to be silly and ultra-unrealistic but it was guilty pleasure for the first 3 seasons. After that it became just too silly to carry on with so I dropped it. It also glorifies a guy who tried to rape girls twice.

It's full of beautiful people though, I'll give it that.

True about the rape plotline. Being stunning to look at isn't everything in a TV show.

Researchers said that about 45% of the gossip girl viewers only watched the show because of chuck bass.

I'd say it's worth watching just for Blair Waldorf
