Well, to be fair, you did offer me membership of the Labour Party a few months ago in the recruitment thread.
Quamquam is our head of recruitment, of course he's not going to remember insignificant little fools like you.

To be fair, I am actually genuinely surprised you've never heard of Nigel! I mean, along with his world travelling and trophy girlfriend, how can you miss him!!
    Oh my god.

In my defence to the original comment - I was rather active up until a month or so ago, and my absence was beyond my control.

I believe the last bill I commented on was Labour reduction of tuition fees - during which I debated (briefly) with QQ! Good to see I made an impression.

You've made the switch to Labour then?

I do apologise for my slight memory loss. I've just had a 10 hour journey.

Hi BenC, it's good to see a relatively new member getting more involved by standing in a by-election - with a the backing of two very major MHoC parties no less. Shame you didn't take QQ's offer to join Labour, the MHoC's champions of progressivism and hope.

Of course as Leader of the TSR Labour Party my backing is 100% with JoeL, but I hope he doesn't crush you by too much.

Yes, I did assume that - just thought it best to respond. Might I ask why?

I've shifted rightwards (still roughly Corbyn-ish economically but I'm too far right to call myself a socialist), and also, as an ex-Nat Lib, I'm sure you'll know that small parties can be kinda tedious.

But I thought we were going to seize the means of production together next Saturday (then binge watch 'The Thick of It')?

Cheers - I doubt I would have lasted too long in Labour however.
I was at least around here long enough to remember you as Speaker!

I should probably know this but are currently sitting proxy MPs allowed to stand in the by-election?
