    Nor am I denying that Islam and women's rights are compatible.
    This is wrong because it implies that the only two possibilities someone can choose between are feminism or Islam. It fails to take into account the existence of other schools of gender politics such as those which exist in sub-Saharan Africa, the far East or European traditional Conservatives.
