Never got the logic of brushing your teeth before stuffing your mouth with food, only to brush it again.

    Seems redundant to me.

It's like wiping your ass before you take a dump

I've always brush teeth before eating, because i cant imagine swallowing all that bitterness in my mouth in the morning...
cant believe theres so many who eat first then brush
Defo brush my teeth first, can't imagine eating with morning breath gross. I get the toothbrush taste but you wait for a bit before you eat.

If I'm going out in the morning I do another really quick brush before I go out and take some chewing gum :P

Take my retainers off and brush my teeth first. & For those who thinks the food tastes minty, it actually doesn't maybe you should try it sometimes. I could never ever imagine eating breakfast and having all that bacteria and smell going down with it.

I eat first then brush, what is the point of brushing first? You brush to clean them, if you eat straight after then wasn't the brush pointless?

I eat first, leave a gap of about 20 mins and then brush. I know it's not ideal to brush immediately after you have just eaten, as it can wear off the enamel.

I brush first. My majestic breakfast takes around 22-25 minutes to be completed. So by the time I eat there won't be any mint taste.

You must be some wet don if you go ahead and eat breakfast without brushing your teeth first.

Brush teeth! I'll feel sick if I add food to my mouth when I have morning breath

Brush first, food has no proper taste if you don't brush first

Brush then eat my breakfast. I mean, who doesn't do that?

Brush first, since I always end up eating an hour or more after brushing. Don't really see how eating before brushing makes any difference.

I wear retainers overnight so I need to brush my teeth first...but before I had them I still brushed them before eating breakfast. Also the mint taste isn't a problem unless you use too much toothpaste or rinse too little. Also you're going to eat lunch and dinner later anyway and I think morning breath is way worse lol.

    It depends on the day.

If I'm going out soon (like going to uni) I will first eat then brush my teeth. One, it makes it feel like counter productive to brush your teeth and then eat. And two, unlike others on here, I don't really feel any morning breath or anything like that. And I prefer to feel the freshness instead of the aftertaste of food when I'm going out. Plus toothpaste makes some stuff taste weird (e.g. orange juice).

If I'm staying at home or have a good few hours before I need to go anywhere then I'll brush my teeth first cause who knows when I'll bother to make breakfast.

I need to brush my teeth because that's just RANK if you eat first thing.
