If english isn't your first language, which language do you think in?

imo I naturally think in all three, but more smoothly in Swedish and English seeing as they're both equally as strong for me. Arabic tails behind because I don't read/write yet, which means my vocabulary is smaller.


Can you mix thinking languages, so think in a hybrid of English/Swedish/Arabic?

I think that's actually how I do think. Especially if the ''main thought'' is in Arabic, more often than not, I weave in words from both English/Swedish. If that makes any sense, haha.

So what languages can you think in?
First lang: urdu
Second:french
Third:english
It depends if what am thinking about has been said in urdu (mainly what my parents say) then i think in urdu
Same for the other languages lol

Hehe lol urdu is from birth i think
French from age 3/4 lol

Yes, i was born in France :biggrin:, then moved to UK when i was 13 lol:tongue:
Nah, i'd say urdu and french are equal lol but i dont speak french that often anymore coz am in the UK rn
English is catching french tho, coz thats what i speak most of the time, like in school :yep:

I think and dream in Dutch

when I'm back in the Netherlands I find myself thinking 'woi this man is a wasteman what a pagan'
