The other day I got to the point where I was so sick of my music that I deleted like 90% of my songs, so I desperately need new music. I would appreciate any recommendations, regardless of genre as I'm still exploring what sort of music is my "type", I'm quite open minded in what I listen to so please leave some recommendations  ?

 what stuff do you normally listen to? - My fav part is when the beat drops :h:
Hmmm I always found it difficult to describe my music taste xD I like songs with a good beat regardless of whether its slow and chill or fast or what. I can't really decide on one genre as being my type of music but I would say I listen to pop music and house music the most? My favourite kpop songs right now are: CL - Hello *****es, EXO - Monster, Sistar - I Like That

With regards to house and music in particular, Eureka Seven focuses on House music whereas Cowboy Bebop jazz, and Samura Champloo Hip-hop.
Tiger Track is a lovely track from eureka seven try listening to it. Makes we want to start popping and dancing. Imagine riding a surfboard in the air dodging missiles with abrasive maneuvers.

What genres do you already listen to? Will base recommendations for new music based on your answer.

Are you looking to move away from those genres or just find better music in those genres and more?

if it's the latter, give any of these tracks a listen in youtube:

Oblivion - Grimes (dream pop)
Play - iamamiwhoami (dream pop)
Untrust Us - Crystal Castles (electropop)

Fineshrine - Purity Ring (chillwave / indie pop)
The Worst - Jhene Aiko (R&B)
Never Matter - Toro y Moi (chillwave) - personal fave out of the songs I've listed (very feel good song. watch the video on youtube too if you can)

Try Nujabes. I like his style, "Arurian Dance" comes to mind so does "Feather" and "Counting Stars" 2 of these tracks appear in Samurai Champloo
I am just a Otaku though i listen to anime music. But it still good. You got some good background soundtracks and openings/ endings.
Sometimes its not just music you need to guide you, Anime can help.
if your stuck in a ditch watch Welcome to the Nhk or Tatami Galaxy if your feeling noir and old school watch cowboy bebop, or if you need some faith in yourself watch Gurren Lagann or Great Teacher Onizuka(This one is especially old but you might like it).

Don't forget Fat Jon
Try Mura Masa.
Any Genre eh? Well... Mostly Rock and Metal, but I suppose I may as well post.

(Mostly Japanese) Babymetal... Pretty much everything. It's a strange combination of J-Pop and Metal, somehow that combination works.

Devon Werkheiser - Light Years

Ozzy Osbourne... Again, pretty much everything. Earlier stuff is rather light, stuff after 1988 is generally heavier as Zakk Wylde loves heavy tones, and seems to have a pinch harmonics fetish.

(German) Rammstein - Ohne Dich

Disturbed - The Light

Guns N' Roses - November Rain

Alter Bridge - Show Me a Leader

Slash Ft. Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators (MK&TC) - The Dissident

Slash Ft. MK&TC - Avalon

Slash Ft. MK&TC - Wicked Stone

Sixx:A.M. - Let's Go

Guns N' Roses - Sweet Child O' Mine

Guns N' Roses - Welcome To The Jungle

(German) Serum 114 - Die Nacht Mein Freund

Zodiac - Follow You

Emma Blackery - Sucks To Be You

(German) Megaherz - Einsam

Arctic Monkeys - R U Mine

Omega Lithium - Salvation Refused

Sabaton - Primo Victoria

(German) Rammstein - Ich Tu Dir Weh

Bloc Party - Helicopter

Fergie/Heart - Barracuda... Honestly, I'd only put one, but they both do a great job.

Aerosmith - Livin' On The Edge

Bon Jovi - Misunderstood

The Killers - When You Were Young

Green Day - Holiday

Bon Jovi - Bad Medicine (Specifically the version from: This Left Feels Right)

One Ok Rock - Smells Like Teen Spirit... Say what you want, these guys do a far better job and Cobain ever did.

Metallica - For Whom The Bell Tolls

Hollywood Undead - Levitate

(Some Japanese) One Ok Rock - The Beginning

(Some Japanese) One Ok Rock - Clock Strikes

Bon Jovi - Dead or Alive

Mötley Crüe - Wild Side

Iron Maiden - Run To The Hills

Metallica - One

Warning: May Contain Nickelback

Spoiler

Left out some of the more 'obvious' well known ones, but you'll probably find your way to a bunch of them through some of the recommendations here tbh.
