It's not savoury so doesn't go that well IMO.

Some people are getting really prickly about this though.
tomato sauce isnt that savoury either

Tbf I used to be a hater too, I'm still not a massive fan

I liked it it adds a sweet and sour taste to the pizza. It doesn't have the texture of raw pineapple when cooked. It's really tender and slightly juicy. It's a bit like a roasted tomato

I love pineapple, they go well with a lot of cooked meals and as a fruit by itself

you would not put grapes on your omelette would you ?
Why not? Have you tried it and compared how the flavour and texture of the grape either compliments or detracts from the overall quality of the omelette?

Unless I'm much mistaken, of course you haven't; it's not a food that one would readily assume goes with omelette.

Pineapple is much of the same here, however in contrast to the grape/omelette scenario, it's been tried and tested and, as a result, has been found to go quite well with ham on top of a pizza.

Next time I make an omelette I'm sticking grapes on it, I'll get back to you with the results. It'll either be foul, or I'll be a pioneer.
