    Hello all!

Basically my girlfriend and I are off to Paris in September and I was wondering if anyone on the forums had any advice or reccomendations of where to go and what to do?

    Anything would be very helpful!

    Hey there!

Paris is an incredible city, well worth a visit-and many more!

What are some of your interests so I can try and give you some more personalized recommendations.

Do you have interests in particular kinds of culture/nature/door/drinks/music/nightlife?

If you have any other questions, just let me know!

    Happy travels,

    Mariah

    Hello!

Well I think we are interested in visiting cultural/historical site (e.g. Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe etc.) but we were just wondering whether there were any 'hidden/quirky' attractions, i.e. that aren't really that well known or publicised?

From your categories though I would say that these are what we are looking for: culture, nature, drinks and nightlife (although not in the clubbing sense, just things like watching the Eiffel Tower lighting up!)

    Thanks for your help!

    Okay, that sounds great!
There are definitely some must sees in Paris to cross off your list, as I'm sure you're aware- they're world famous for very good reason!

If you're interested in Medicine/Science, The Museum of the History of Medicine is a fascinating insight into how the country, and the world, has progressed in Medicine and technology-and a step away from your typical museums and art galleries.

In terms of bars, Moonshiner is very quirky as it's speak-easy themed and has hidden access via a pizza restaurant- you won't find street signs for this one. Check it out here.

Here's a list of free things to look out for if budget is a factor, and remember to bring your student card if it's still valid as most attractions will offer discounted rates.

With wanting to chill and just watch the Eiffel Tower light up-you've definitely got the right idea there! Some of the best experiences are honestly just bringing a blanket with a bottle of wine and finding a spot on the grass and watching the city come to life at night. There's hardly a substitute for good company when making memories.

    I hope this has helped!
If you need any more information, either on Paris or on future trips, feel free to ask as I'm always here to help, and what I don't know-our other travel experts will!

    Enjoy Paris!

    Happy travelling,

    Mariah
