    Yes; Persian ≠ Islam.

In fact, Persia was ruined by the Arabisation/Islamisation which brought about the end of the Sassanid Empire.

That's also just a bad example because Persian rugs are usually a symbol of opulence than anything else.
Yes you know that and I also know that Persian does not equal Islam, my point is that the people I am talking about probably don't. I admit that probably wasn't the best example but the rest of what I said still stands.

Also really, that was all you took from that?

It will be stopped eventually, as the Muslim population things will only deteriorate. There will be more social tension and the electorate will move further to the right. Then a right wing party will ascend to power and halt Islamization.

I meant to say as the Muslim population grows things will only get worse.

Why do people see it as Islam taking over or spreading? It's not exactly trendy - I don't hear of people wanting to convert or trying on Burkinis, and it's pretty exclusive.

I genuinely don't think anyone in the world would see a Persian rug and think of Islam.

There are/have been a decent number of converts just on this site. The novelty of being a white convert who gives up worldly pleasures for the sake of the Lord never quite wears off for some people.

    or trying on Burkinis,
‘Burkini’ Inventor Says Sales Have Skyrocketed on Heels of Controversy.

The French “burkini” bans, and the news reports about the ensuing debate, have been good for business, she said, with online sales rising about 200 percent in recent days.

Not really. You're probably thinking of Judaism.

I can't even with this thread. You are all awful. As if the whole of Islam has some massive agenda against the West. So what if not everyone wants to wear a bikini on the beach? Who cares if you get a mosque in your town? No-one is making you go to pray there,
These examples are as naive as this topic.
Europe will not be fully islamized within 20, 50 or even 100 years, but lots of things will change and things that you mentioned will be nothing compared to real problems that will appear and are appearing right now.

If somebody thinks that knowing very well and believing some obsolete book is more vital, that getting fact based knowledge and understanding of our world, it is a problem. It is easier to deal with secular ignorance, than with delusions.
