But at school, they know ALL the facts. Like even the ones that aren't in the syllabus. And they're always getting 100 UMS marks in everything. Im sure they are really really good at exams. But I think they lack creativity and social skills.
someone in my school has got the highest grade possible in every exam in like the last 3 years so like A* in everything imaginable but he's not Indian he just puts lots of work in to get as good as he is. However many people like that are very socially awkward as they can't interact properly.

I wouldn't say we are intelligent. I think it is just the work ethic that our parents put into us at a young age.

    My motivation?

Well, as an Indian, I WILL have an arranged marriage and if I want a decent wife well I guess you get the picture.
You're ok with an arranged marriage?

    Yes
What if you don't like the suitors or find someone else?

Also are you a Muslim? If so, are you allowed to date?

It's basically a stereotype for them . Same with the chinese . There are over 1 billion in indians in India .Think of the competition for jobs or going at a good uni .Many people=competition=hardwork and intelligence

They are genetically superior in that aspectthat's life son.

Im quite relieved to hear these kinds of answers. Ive always felt there wasn't an innately superior intelligence - just a question of a greater amount of time spent on the acquisition of factual information; time they could have spent on socialising or developing a broader extra-circular profile.
Lol at this coping mechanism for your failures.

Cheers for that mate. I got to admit, my extra curricular profile sucks. But because I'm Indian, no one cares
I've seen the extracurriculars thing a lot, most parents just send their kids for _____ lessons just to boast about it (in India, at least). If they start to truly love ____, they 'need' a harsh reminder that there is no career option in ____.
Of course I'm not claiming everyone's parents do this... But I've seen too much of it...

Their parents come from India and are stuck in unskilled labour. They want their children to succeed for the fear they'll struggle too.
