    I think it was a good amount for the experiment as you're right, its not an awful lot. It could still buy you a ton of alcohol, but it also encouraged you to use this small amount to try and make more.

    I would put it in my credit union account. £250 would pay off the remainder of a loan. The other £750 would be put into savings which means I could use to take out a loan worth £3000 (allowed to take out 4x your savings up to a maximum of £3000 so it is pointless having any more than £750 in there).

    I do not really need to buy anything. The only thing I would be tempted to splurge the money on would be a holiday as I have not been on one for years.
