    i believe it is. veganism is an expression of empathy for those poor animals.

    I am a veggie, have a few vegan friends but for me ethically sourced eggs/fish is not a problem. It's a very sustainable source of food.

    Yes animal welfare in terms of meat production and animal rights - ie how people treat their pets. These have come a long way.
