It's fine. I missed a whole week in year 11 (before February half term) as I went skiing. It's fine you won't miss anything you can't catch up on.

I'm going into Year 10 tomorrow and my family have booked a holiday in October which means I will be missing 3 days from school. I'm really worried that it is going to affect my GCSE's and studying, can you give me some advice?
    you sound unbelievably square

I sat my GCSEs in May-June. My attendance has always been abismal at school, but my overall attendance at the end of Y11 was around 52% (personal issues etc., won't divulge...)

    I got 1 A*, 6 Bs, 3 Cs and a U (I'm resitting the exam I failed - was ill at the time)

You'll be fine, but when you return to school just ask your teachers if there's anything you need to catch up on.
Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
