For my 21st birthday, my grandparents sent me on my first ever holiday abroad. They let me choose anywhere I wanted to go and I chose Reykjavik, Iceland. It was also my first time on a plane too. I'll forever be grateful for that experience and it'll be a holiday I will never forget, with memeories I'll cherish forever
Wow! Reykjavik must've been amazing! Back when I was in secondary school, I did a Geography project on Reykjavik (I don't remember why I chose that city...I think it was because I liked the Icelandic band Sigur Ros at the time). I still remember some stuff that I found during my research. Tourists get tax-free shopping and there's barely any daylight towards the end of the year (which explains why Icelandic Muslims fast for roughly 22 hours during Ramadhan!). Oh, and the children's show LazyTown is recorded in the city.

The best gift I've ever received...hmm, that's a tricky one.

A few years ago, my family (probably only my mum) put a £50 note in my birthday card. I was shocked to see a note of such value in there! I wasn't expecting any money or vouchers to be inside the card, maybe £20 at the very most. That day, I privately cried in the kitchen and verbally thanked God so much. My family's not wealthy and I think we're struggling financially but my mum probably tries to hide it.

Also a couple of years ago and also for my birthday (maybe last year), my sister gave me a DVD collection of my favourite movie series — How To Train Your Dragon (AKA HTTYD). I asked for it so it wasn't a surprise. I still love it, though, because it's my favourite movie series, especially the How To Train Your Dragon 2 movie!

[[A while after I received my A-Level (and BTEC Level 3) results, my family considered getting me something. I said no, because I didn't get the results I wanted (my fault). No discussion of it afterwards. I don't deserve to get anything after A-Levels because I didn't revise enough. Lack of motivation and personal issues.]]

PS2 honestly. I was disappointed at first because it wasn't something I could play with outside but then I spent my entire childhood playing Ratchet and Clank so it worked out in the end
