I'm not sure where my 67% authoritarian comes from either. I tend to follow a live and let live philosophy about most things which doesn't seem very authoritarian to me.
Yeah I think it was the type of questions, they weren't really in-depth enough or were just too situational to ascertain a fully accurate response. It accurately got my right-leaning and liberalness (I principally consider myself a centre-right liberal), the others though just really depend on the circumstances.

    Yeah especially the taxes question.

I mean the govt is always entitled to collect taxes in some form as things obviously need to be paid for, but they can't just tax anything willy nilly.

lol that's exactly what went through my head when I saw that question, I believe they should be allowed to implement a level of taxation that allows for the common defence and welfare of the nation (so maintaining a military, providing healthcare, providing infrastructure, providing education, providing a basic welfare system etc), but any more than strictly necessary amounts to theft, i.e. charging excessive tax rates like 80% or something is depriving workers of their well-earned wages. As long as the government can keep society safe and functioning, then they have no reason to charge higher tax rates.

Sounds about right for me, though the "non-interventionist" comes from me being against foreign aid and the UN, rather than war (which I am completely for).

I'm not sure how I'm a communist that it's anti-government. I actually think my political affiliation is more centrist than that.

I really don't like websites like this, but whatever, apparently I'm a:
Conservative Anti-Government Isolationist Nationalist ReactionaryCollectivism score: -50%
    Authoritarianism score: -33%
    Internationalism score: -50%
    Tribalism score: 33%
    Liberalism score: -50%

I think there was a really obvious left-leaning bias on the person who made this, especially with the results - being labelled an "isolationist" because I don't think illegal immigrants should have a path to citizenship. It also asks really stupid questions like:
"Euthanasia, abortion and suicide should all be legal", it just clumps together 3 completely different issues into one, and I have differing views on each of them, so I couldn't answer it.

Interesting... despite my Keynesian leanings, I answered maybe on the taxes question, since I don't think the government is "always" entitled, especially if it is a non democratic government.

Corbyn is not incredibly left wing; at most, I'd call him soft left. He's a m.o.r. social democrat really.

On the collectivism and authoritarianism scores i largely agree with them. I'm ardently pro-market in principal and mixed socially. On internationalism i thought the questions were quite poor in that while i do consider the UN useless and would not be bothered if we left (should we ever become self sufficient) i'm actually very pro globalism and a big fan of NATO. Tribalism seems about right although i'm more liberal than the test would indicate.
