No it wasn't really the intention for the thread, the intention was more to create an up to date OASC information thread. Somewhere people can exchange ideas and experiences. For example, I haven't been able to go on an RJP, but I know how invaluable the information is that you get from these. So the lovely people in the comments above have been able to give me an insight as to what they learnt.
Information about being an ABM is just an extra really, just in case anyone is applying for the same branch

On the RAF website under the training for ABM is says you specialize as either surveillance or weapons. However, it says on other site that there is also a space specialization. Do you have any insight?
There is opportunity for IDO to go into space, but it would be second tour at the earliest.
First tour for everyone is in a CRC.
