An important part of long distance running is to RELAX. You'll run a hell of a lot further.

Part of a high score is not just the fitness, it's also the willpower. Just push for as long as you can. Set little goals for yourself along the way.

Also, drink lots 1-2 hours before.

I really don't think anyone put that much effort just to do a bleep test at school

Ngl my friend and I actually enjoy the bleep test. The next day we would always laugh at how much our legs ache 😂

If you're doing the 20 Meter Bleep Test then each level lasts about a minute. So to get to level 10 actually only requires about 9 mins of running. The key to the bleep test is not being pressured into doing the first few levels any faster than you need to, getting your changes right on the early levels so you've got them practised for the faster levels & then being mentally prepared to put max effort in. The bleep test is much as a test mentally as physically as quite a few people give up the moment they feel pain or discomfort. You've got to push through that until you physically can't keep up with the bleeps anymore.
