    i have a gd relationship with my mum, more of a sister to me so its good as i dont have no siblings i cant talk to my mum just like a sister, not so much with my grandma/grandad (dads side).

    Thankfully I have a very good relationship with both my parents.

    It was fine with both of them, even if neither did emotions much.

    It's better now they're both dead though.

    I get on with my parents better than I used to. My dad is a complete bully and was rather abusive when I was growing up. Still kinda is tbh. I love him but I don't like him at all :nope: As for my mum, I appreciate she did what she thought was best (regarding my dad), but I would have done things very differently tbh. I kinda resent her for not being the role model I wanted/needed when I was young.

    I do admire her a lot though: she effectively raised three kids in a poor household single-handed (my dad basically did jack all and brought in no money of his own. But of course took full credit when we did well at school, got into good unis, etc ) :yes:

    So yeah, tiz complicated
