Passing my driving test first time! I really struggled with driving when I began lessons, it took me several months before I felt ready to drive on the main roads. I wanted to just give up as I felt I wasn't making any progress, but I stuck with it and I finally passed my test

Everything I've had to overcome and that has made the person I am today... Which I don't think is too bad

Coping with circumstances. Singing in a school talent show. Giving a speech when I was really scared.

Achieving what I have since losing my mum.

I graduated from uni with a First and the Board of Examiners' Final Year Prize the month before my mum died.

Since then I have had 5 kickboxing fights (won 4), which is a massive achievement for me considering my social anxiety, to even be able to get in the ring and compete!

I passed my Masters degree with a Merit despite having to take 6 months when I spent 5 and a half months inpatient for anorexia treatment.

Gaining over 20kg. I hate myself for it, I hate my body and I hate my weight. But I'm proud of fighting, and I am proud that I have gone from being barely able to walk and at risk of heart failure to being weight restored, back at training and living again.

And my first proper job, as a social researcher in the Civil Service. I am so ridiculously proud of being independent, of being able to do what I love and have such amazing opportunities. I didn't think I'd ever get anywhere in life at all, because the severity of my social anxiety means I can barely make eye contact, I can barely speak in new situations at all, and the depression, self-harm, anorexia, suicidal thoughts have caused so much difficulty. But I am making progress and I just love it there.
