omg i luv u rn, i only listened to one song and i luv them

    Why nor nirvana eh:hmmm:
I don't really listen to Nirvana if I feel depressed or anxious, I know it's different for everyone, but it usually exacerbates those feelings for me.

And, lol, which one? Let's Go Surfing?

i don't want to make my life worse by drinking
then just valium for you? but a double dose. or make it triple  honestly, all that ******** about addiction and stuff.. ok you shouldnt abuse it but theres absolutely no reason for anyone to suffer from bad anxiety in this day and age. Some brains never re-learn NOT to perceive most things as a threat after a trauma or whatever.

I was having serious depression while doing my MA at St Andrews. I talked to the counsellors about a bereavement 'not properly settled' and they advised me on both academic matters and how exactly to deal with sad feelings. I come from an East Asian cultural background and people are reluctant to talk about feelings. They convinced me to express those feelings more openly and to move on in life. They also gave me useful study advice (including installing a SAD light --- some kind of a white-light lamp --- to combat weather-induced depression in Scotland. I had a hard time dealing with British climate --- so different from the hot, sunny, humid climate at my hometown). We made good friends afterwards.

I find TV helps. I love to get into a new TV series and immerse myself into a new world. I recently started Gilmore Girls and I'm now 5 seasons in I struggle with reading so I personally don't do it too much, but that could help if it's something you enjoy. There's so many people to talk to here as well so you're never alone

    Things that help me:
    Crying then sleeping after
    Listening to music
Talking to lovely people like CoolCavy

If you've got a bf/gf talking to them also helps
    Running
Looking at funny internet memes seems to help sometimes.
If you want to talk to me then it's more than welcome
