I guess it's due to the lack of revision and many people do not have the motivation or drive to take GCSEs seriously

Lots of people I know that are really smart and scientific failed science with a D. Literally half my friends failed. Why is science so damn hard!!!!
I don't understand this either; all you literally have to do is listen in class and do the homework and past papers done. They probably just messed about in class

core science was easy however i actually failed it and got a D. But the reason why i think i failed it was because i did it in year 10 when i wasnt ready at all and had absolutly no idea how significant it would be. The same thing actually happened with my friend. We both managed to pass additional science though

I failed Biology, because it was mind numbingly dull and I didn't care at all about the grade I got, my school also had a stupid system where you had to resit mock tests; the exact same paper, so I was resitting them every week, just asking people what the answers were and not learning anything to scrape a C. I scraped a pass in physics and chemistry because I didn't revise at all and had no idea what was going on in classes.
