As well as Clarks and Newlook, which you mentioned, I've found some brands tend to be better in general. I have a pair of skechers which fit me really well and are SO comfy. When I buy shoes such as converse I tend to get the unisex or men's ones, which are usually the same design but wider
I got a pair of the Sketchers Memory Foam shoes and OMG I think they might be the most comfy shoes ever

Na, just John Lewis in general, they have quality shoes but they are expensive

Let me know if you find any! *fingers crossed*
Went out yesterday and everything was so tiny  Not a single pair in TKMaxx fit, same with two different New Looks, H&M, Asda, etc etc  I did manage to get a pair in Primark though, surprisingly. Their open shoes have a bit more give in them. Still couldn't get any boots on, but I did get away with some decent open shoes. Worth a try if you haven't already!

Awesome, thanks! You wouldn't think it would be too hard to find black shoes with a thick (not stiletto) heel (not too high!) that aren't suede but most seem to be suede at the moment

I know My mum was looking for leather shoes, and everything was just suede. Odd, because it always goes bad in winter weather!
