There's no point remaking a film to be exactly like the original, that'd be a bit of a waste of money, would it not?
It's like when bands cover songs, they make it their own style. This is what the Coen Brothers have done, made The Ladykillers into the unique Coen Brothers style.

I thought it was disapointing as a Coen Brothers flick. That was the only reason I went to see it. They have really sold out since their early years. Just trying to cash in ont he hollywood big buck now, which prostitutes their cred.

    Tom Hanks was good though.

It was just tragic to see the Coens get it so wrong!

    Resident evil: Apocalypse (2004)
Where did you hear about this?????? cant wait.

What do you get when you mix Terminator 2, A.I., Short Circuit and Coranation Street? answer: I, Robot. I almost felll asleep watching it, the number of cliches in this film is amazing, save your cash (or hard drive space) and see The Bourne Supremecy, now dats a good film.

I think the problem with King Arthur will be that they are trying to keep historically correct, so they can only be as exciting as the history, whereas things like pirates of the carribean is all fiction, it can be made as exciting as they want. still, im excited about king arthur, I like old weapons and it will be gd to see a strong female character. Anyway, u shouldnt listen too much to critics, they said Charlies angels was a fantastic film (**cough**)

I didn't think it was near as good as the first. It just wasn't as original. The second was really more stupid than funny.

How can you put Thunderbirds in the poll and not TROY.

Sure it was historically WRONG but it was a HUGE movie.
