I guess she was not sly enough.

People in my class cheated using flash cards so I don't know how they did not get caught

That's the risk you take when you cheat. It's not unfair that the others who cheated are not facing the same situation, because they didn't get caught. If you're going to cheat in the first place you have no reason to moan.

one of my mates got caught cheating in her spanish CA, for the second time.
the head of spanish threatened to disqualify her from spanish gcse, even though 80% of the class was cheating but didn't get caught. her CA was then ripped up by the teacher right then and there, although it was only a threat, she's worried she may actually get disqualified, could this be the case?
she should have done the right thing and not cheated, regardless of the rest of her class. I suppose at the end of the day there'es nothing she can do, if she does get disqualified she has to live with it. But hopefully not, just note if she cheats in the real thing, there probs will be no second chance. Also are you asking for a "mate" or yourself?

Yeah, she definitely could. If it's reported to the exam board, they won't treat it lightly. I'd definitely bring up that others were cheating, but don't expect it to get her off the hook either
