I just buy a loaf of bread and add a filling, usually chicken then I make loads of sandwiches and put them in the freezer and defrost them when I need them - that way I save money on buying sandwiches and the bread is always really fresh and doesn't go off before I get it finished. Also, its great for saving time cos I don't have to spend ages making a sandwich when Im already late for going somewhere cos I make loads of them and just grab one out of the freezer then go - usually costs about 75p

I'm staying in catered halls for my uni and the way it works is that you get £27 per week to spend at any of the uni food outlets ( of which there are a lot and the choice is great ! ) so as a result I spend around £4 a day for lunch as I like to have some money spare for the weekend !

About £8 a day, or £15 a couple times a week when me and my friends eat out. Which is ridiculous especially because i'm trying to save up
