It's only fat sideways... but I have to say, I prefer the ergonomics of the current model. They're cheaper too, though!

It'll be fun to see what happens when they release the Beatles stuff. Several people have predicted that they'll have all top 10 chart positions at once.

8GB and 16GB is rubbish. I'd rather have a hard drive with 80GB and more.

I'm definitely not gonna be buying the iPhone now!

I tried convincing myself I'm not gonna uprade (been doing so since the 3rd gen) but this ipod touch has totally changed my mind. Having Safari on hand will be great.

How much is it? Coz on Engadget they first said $250 for 80GB then $299???

Which is it? Im gonna go for a 80GB as I've a 30gb now and tis fine..

Yeah, a part of me feels like that too. I'd rather have it be a bit fatter and have a proper, capacious hard disk than have the limited storage capacity. After all, you're hardly going to be able to fit acres of video et al on a device with 8/6GB storage to take advantage of that lovely, high-res widescreen display. Meh, still, it has all that I expected/hoped that it would. Still, the only drawback for me is the capacity. I'd still consider one, just because I'd like something small and portable to be able to store some music, video et al, and be able to read the news headlines et al on when I'm bumming around in my students' union/uni in general.
